About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join our team at National Grid. As a key member of our compensation team, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and communicating our global compensation program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the ongoing design and implementation of our global compensation program, ensuring it is aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to People Partners and internal stakeholders, providing expert guidance on global compensation and reward strategies.
  • Develop and implement effective reward communication strategies to ensure colleagues understand and appreciate the different elements of our reward program.
  • Support the design of an effective Annual Performance Plan (APP) process, ensuring it is streamlined and efficient.
  • Collaborate with the team to create global compensation policy documentation, outlining roles, responsibilities, processes, and key deliverables.
  • Interpret legislation and tax rules regulating global compensation, ensuring all policies and processes are implemented in a legally compliant manner.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Compensation and Benefits Specialist with a strong background in global compensation and reward strategies. You will have advanced excel skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
