Job Title: Project Engineer Specialist

We are currently working with a global provider of engineered electronics for performance-critical applications. This role is focused on the design and manufacture of electronic components and assemblies serving clients in industries like aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally through the business to support Project Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Design, Process Improvement Project Teams, quotations, and procurement
- Support all aspects of production process
- Investigate true root cause of failures, create and support concessions, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for customers as required
- Create and control manufacturing instructions and implement engineering changes to production
- Collaboratively drive production efficiencies including running Kaizen events and applying LEAN methodologies, identifying, and tracking opportunities for improvement

Requirements:
- Sound engineering background with relevant qualifications and experience
- Degree Qualified or recognised apprenticeship
- Proven experience in the engineering field
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build a rapport with both internal and external customers
- Positive 'can do' attitude
- An understanding of configuration control and product structure, preferable but not essential, experience with Autodesk Autocad, Solidworks, Fusion, Vault, & Inventor (or similar design software)
