About the Job:
We are looking for a highly skilled Director of Securitisation Governance to join our team at Barclays UK. As a key member of our Legal Function, you will be responsible for ensuring that our corporate governance is upheld, including public disclosures and the creation and periodic review of Legal documents in accordance with contractual arrangements policy.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of securitisation and its associated regulatory requirements, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills. You will also have a proven track record of developing and implementing best practice legal strategies for risk management and compliance.

About the Role:
• Ensure that our corporate governance is upheld, including public disclosures and the creation and periodic review of Legal documents
• Develop and implement best practice legal strategies for risk management and compliance
• Provide expert advice to senior functional management and committees to influence decisions made outside of own function
• Manage, coordinate, and enable resourcing, budgeting, and policy creation for a significant sub-function

Requirements:
• Qualified lawyer (preferably English law) with strong experience supporting securitisation and advising upon the related regulatory landscape
• Proven experience developing and implementing best practice legal strategies for risk management and compliance
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong understanding of the UK regulatory framework and its application to securitisation
