About the Role:

This key position offers the opportunity for a motivated professional to join our innovative company:

  • Identifying and pursuing business development opportunities at new and existing customers.
  • Developing and implementing account and territory plans for nominated markets.

The role involves travel both in the UK and overseas and requires a comprehensive induction process that includes full product training.

As a degree-qualified food scientist/technologist with several years of practical and commercial experience, you will have the opportunity to further develop your career within a technical sales role across a growing sector.

Key Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in food science or technology.
  • 2-5 years of practical experience in a product development/applications role within the food/beverage industry.
  • Ideally 1-2 years of commercial experience with proven capability to manage customers and prospects, develop and maintain strong relationships, and deliver high levels of service.
  • Experience of working with specialized food ingredients would be a significant advantage.
  • Creative, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable about food, its appearance, ingredients, and industrial processing.
  • Proven ability to assimilate technical information, manage and deliver projects.
  • Able to document activities within CRM and associated systems and to present in a commercially appropriate way.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Desire and flexibility to travel both within the UK and overseas.

Estimated salary range: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum.
