Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Sea Global, a leading household retailer. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in driving cost savings, improving supplier relationships, and ensuring the smooth operation of our procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead small to medium-sized projects and contract negotiations with suppliers
  • Develop and implement end-to-end procurement strategies to drive cost savings and improve supplier relationships
  • Work closely with various business unit heads, including Heads of Departments and Directors, to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Support tenders and the negotiation process for large and complex contracts
  • Deliver cost reduction, risk mitigation, and control of annual category spend across the business

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in indirect procurement, with a strong understanding of procurement processes and strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective procurement projects, with a focus on cost savings and supplier relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across various departments
  • CIPS, degree, or relevant qualification is an asset, but not required
