Head of Procurement

Job Summary:

Finnings International is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead our procurement function. As Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement plans that drive cost savings, improve efficiency, and enhance supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with the company's business objectives.

  • Lead a team of procurement professionals to ensure effective procurement processes and practices.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and conditions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement strategies are aligned with business needs.

  • Develop and implement procurement metrics and reporting to measure performance and drive improvement.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the procurement function remains competitive and effective.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful procurement strategies.

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading a team of procurement professionals.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

  • Knowledge of procurement processes and practices, including contract management and supplier relationship management.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
