About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Procurement to join our team at Finning. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for developing and delivering strategic procurement plans that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans that align with business objectives
  • Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals to ensure effective delivery of procurement services
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to drive value and improve procurement processes
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities
  • Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Provide training and development opportunities to procurement team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategic procurement plans
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of leading and managing a team of procurement professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain management and strategic procurement
  • Knowledge of commercial/contractual practices and procurement operations
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or equivalent experience in a related field
