Job Description: Head of Fleet and Maintenance

We're looking for someone who shares our passion for sustainability and is committed to pushing for genuine change. As a senior leader, you'll be responsible for leading our fleet replacement budget and maintenance budget, working closely with finance teams, operational business, and central fleet.

You'll take the lead on all fleet-related matters for new treatment business tenders and acquisitions, and lead, coach, and motivate your team to reach their full potential. You'll also recognize and develop talent, maintain employee engagement, and manage the treatment Fleet function.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the production of the fleet replacement budget and maintenance budget
  • Managing the treatment Fleet function and influencing the wider business to accurately manage Fleet systems
  • Specifying and procuring new assets across the business
  • Leading all aspects of asset maintenance across the treatment division
  • Delivering efficient, safe, and cost-effective solutions to support business profitability and growth

We're looking for someone with a strong background in senior fleet management, commercial management of their own P&L, and proven skills in managing in-house workshops and external maintenance suppliers. Expert knowledge of road transport legislation and fleet-related health and safety legislation is essential.
