## Job Title: Head of Fleet Operations

## Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Head of Fleet Operations to lead our fleet management team and drive the development of our fleet strategy. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our fleet, as well as developing and implementing strategies to improve our fleet's performance and reduce costs.

## Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement fleet management strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
* Lead the fleet management team and provide guidance and support to ensure the effective operation of the fleet
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure the fleet is aligned with business objectives
* Develop and manage the fleet budget and ensure that all fleet-related expenses are properly accounted for
* Identify and implement opportunities to improve fleet performance and reduce costs
* Develop and maintain relationships with external suppliers and partners

## Requirements

* Strong background in fleet management, preferably in a senior role
* Commercial management experience, with a proven track record of managing budgets and reducing costs
* Proven skills in managing in-house workshops and external maintenance suppliers
* Expert knowledge of road transport legislation and fleet-related health and safety legislation
* Waste and utilities background would be advantageous
