About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Fleet to join our team at Veolia. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our fleet strategy, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vehicles, and driving business growth through effective fleet management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fleet strategy that aligns with business objectives
  • Lead a team of fleet managers and coordinators to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our vehicles
  • Manage the procurement and maintenance of fleet assets, including vehicles and equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Monitor and analyze fleet performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize fleet operations
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior fleet management role, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry
  • Strong commercial management skills, with experience of managing a P&L within a fleet or operational environment
  • Excellent technical knowledge of road transport legislation and fleet-related health and safety legislation
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of leading a team of fleet managers and coordinators
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
