About the Role

A leading Property Landlord is seeking a Property Maintenance Delivery Manager to join their Property Services Team in Blandford Forum, covering the Dorset Region. This 12-month fixed-term contract will provide an exciting opportunity to lead a team of specialized contractors in delivering property maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team of specialized contractors in delivering property maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with relevant requirements.
  2. Develop and implement effective program development and performance improvement strategies in a social housing environment.
  3. Manage contracts and projects, ensuring timely delivery and value for money.
  4. Plan, track, and forecast income and expenditure against budgets, mitigating risks and ensuring commercial acumen.
  5. Operate with commercial awareness, managing budgets of circa £2 million.
  6. Deliver innovative concepts, utilizing future policy changes to support flexibility in a responsive organization.
  7. Develop strong relationships with stakeholders, influencing and challenging as necessary.
  8. Provide excellent customer service in a complex delivery environment.
  9. Utilize Microsoft Office suite, with intermediate or advanced Excel skills.
Requirements
  1. At least 2 years of experience in leading a team of specialized contractors in property maintenance projects.
  2. Excellent knowledge of program development and performance improvement in a social housing environment.
  3. CDM knowledge and experience.
  4. Project Management and contract management skills and proven experience.
  5. Ability to operate with commercial acumen and manage budgets.
  6. Ability to deliver innovative concepts and utilize future policy changes.
  7. Strong people skills and effective communication.
  8. Excellent customer service achievements in a complex delivery environment.
  9. Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite.
