About the Team:

RPS Water Consulting is a team of Engineers, Modellers, and Data Analysts providing Asset Management and Operational Strategy development to our Water Industry clients. We are an evolving industry, providing challenges and opportunities that require innovation, dedication, and teamwork to help us meet our clients' needs.

About You:

We are looking for a Delivery Manager with extensive experience in the leadership and management of field-based teams, ideally gained in the utility service industry or similar. You will have a proven track record of delivering results in an often unpredictable, operational environment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of water projects within our Water Consulting business.
  • Deliver a high level of customer service to our external and internal customers.
  • Manage the health, safety, and well-being of our field-based teams.
  • Embody RPS's high professional standards and advocacy.
  • Manage the day-to-day running of field staff members.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Clean Water Networks - knowledge and understanding of network hydraulics and asset types found on these networks.
  • Experience in highway working and NRSWA Signing Lighting & Guarding qualification.
  • Experience and awareness of managing work in high-risk environments.
  • Team leadership - experience of successfully leading integrated/blended/diverse/multidisciplinary teams.
  • Communication - high emotional intelligence and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strive to exceed client aspirations and be goal-driven.
  • Proficient in the use of the MS Office suite and work management systems.

Qualifications:

  • A degree qualified in a relevant subject is desirable.
  • IOSH managing safely.
  • A full UK driving license is essential.
