We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Postperson with Driving to join our team at Royal Mail. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers across Glasgow.

About the Role

As a Postperson with Driving, you will be required to work independently, managing your delivery route and ensuring timely and efficient delivery of mail and packages. You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver mail and packages to customers across Glasgow
  • Manage your delivery route and ensure timely and efficient delivery
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries
  • Resolve any issues that may arise during delivery

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, paid monthly, with an hourly rate of £12.54p/hr. You will also receive overtime pay at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate, as well as 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata). We also offer a company pension scheme with competitive contribution rates, and lots of opportunity to develop a career, including our trainee manager roles and Apprentice Schemes.

Requirements

  • Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Upbeat, independent and self-motivated
  • Organised, punctual and ready to deliver great customer service
  • Happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather
