Maternity Booking Clerk/Receptionist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Maternity Booking Clerk/Receptionist. This role will involve providing administrative support to the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Directorate, ensuring the smooth operation of our maternity services.
Main Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and relatives, responding to queries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Accurately register and update patient details onto hospital and national databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Assist in the management of referrals, phone lines, and clinic preparation, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
- Work collaboratively with the medical team to provide administrative support, including preparing documents and reports as required.
- NQV qualification in customer care or equivalent.
- Significant experience working within the NHS or other healthcare environment.
- Relevant experience of working with databases and using MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Email.
