Primary Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons to primary school students, assessing and evaluating student progress, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lesson Planning and Delivery: Develop and deliver well-planned and engaging lessons to primary school students, incorporating a range of teaching methods and resources.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Assess and evaluate student progress through a variety of assessment methods, including formative and summative assessments.
- Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, managing classroom behavior and promoting social and emotional learning.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders, including regular progress updates and parent-teacher meetings.
- Professional Development: Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities to enhance teaching practice and stay up-to-date with curriculum developments.
- Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Education or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience teaching primary school students is preferred.
- Knowledge and Skills: Thorough understanding of child development and learning theories, excellent classroom management skills, and ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE): A postgraduate qualification in Education is desirable.
- Experience working with SEN students: Experience working with students with special educational needs is preferred.
This is a temporary position based in the North East England region. The Primary Teacher will be expected to work full-time hours during the school term, with potential for additional responsibilities such as extracurricular activities and parent-teacher meetings.
