Special Needs Education Support Worker

At TeacherActive Careers, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school in Barnstaple.
The successful candidate will provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, working closely with the teacher to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting students with their academic, social, and emotional development, ensuring each child can reach their full potential.
- Developing supportive relationships with students, helping to build their confidence and independence.
- Providing assistance with personal or medical care needs, when required.
Requirements for the role include:
- A patient and supportive approach to working with children.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Experience working with SEN students is desirable but not essential.
We offer a competitive salary of £85 to £95 per day and a full-time position.
