Job Description

AVTAV LTD is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Professional to join our team at the Heathrow Consolidation Centre. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees, customers, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements and contractual accreditations.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Investigate and report on health and safety incidents and near misses.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership team to develop and implement health and safety strategies that align with the company's overall objectives.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols.
Requirements
  • IOSH Managing Safety Essential qualification.
  • Nebosh General Certificate Essential qualification.
  • NXCT holder (desirable).
  • Recognized Training Qualification (i.e. PTTLS or equivalent) (desirable).
  • Threat Assessor (desirable).
  • Radiation Protection Supervisor Essential qualification.

  • Police and Law Enforcement Agencies.
  • Health & Safety Executive and other Government Enforcement Agencies.
  • BSI, NSF and other relevant standards organisations.
