Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Job Summary:

Fusion People Ltd is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for performing break-fix and maintenance tasks for EPOS systems and electronic point of sale equipment in retail stores across North Wales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of EPOS systems and electronic point of sale equipment
  • Install, move, add, change, and remove hardware and software products and components as directed
  • Participate in regular hardware and software trainings to maintain product knowledge and ITIL skills
  • Work on a 1 in 3 on-call weekly rota, providing support during evenings and weekends
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional attitude at all times

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of more than 1 year as a Service Technician
  • Successfully completed education in IT or mechatronic/electronic-related profession
  • Product knowledge of the relevant industry and basic ITIL skills preferred
  • Shift adaptability and ability to work on-call
  • Exceptional customer service skills
