We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Data & Insight Expert to join our team at Nestlé SA. As a key member of our Zone Europe Sustainability team, you will play a critical role in accelerating our sustainability journey and providing expertise guidance to all functions, markets, and product categories to support our Carbon & Biodiversity Roadmap for the Zone.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical expertise and support for GHG reduction and removal accounting to our key Zone Europe projects.
- Develop and maintain tools and guidance for Net Zero carbon footprint calculation across the Zone.
- Contribute to the accurate reductions and removals quantification from interventions and their integration to the GHG reporting systems.
- Play an instrumental role in identifying, prioritizing, and assessing interventions to achieve the Net Zero roadmap, while fostering their deployment across multiple businesses and geographies.
- Provide consulting to function leads on relevant climate and sustainability matters.
- Identify expertise and good practices from inside and outside Nestlé and communicate them internally.
- Engage with external stakeholders representing Nestlé on sustainability accounting and methodology topics to build long-term, positive relationships and benchmarks across industry standards.
- Master of Sciences in environmental sciences, with specialization in climate accounting, monitoring, and modeling.
- Confirmed experience in climate consulting, sourcing, or auditing, with a focus in agriculture and climate-based interventions.
- Knowledge of GHG accounting and LCA assessment, any exposure to FMCG industry would be a plus.
- Understanding of the science behind sustainability and ability to translate complex scientific concepts into simple messages and for non-scientific audiences.
- Comfortable with data management and analytics from various reporting systems.
- Fluent in English with good communication skills.
