Centre Manager

This role offers the opportunity to be part of MAPP's effort to make a positive impact in property management.
The Centre Manager will work closely with the MAPP team and client to establish a more successful and performing asset.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading meetings with key stakeholders, such as tenant meetings and contractor reviews
- Providing knowledge of the centre's performance in client meetings
- Ensuring effective collaboration with all key stakeholders, including local authority, BID representatives, and others
- Monitoring contractor/supplier performance and reviewing RAMS and issuing Permits to Work as appropriate
- Promptly responding to emails from colleagues, tenants, and client and resolving complaints received
- Ensuring health and safety management systems are kept up to date, reports logged, and actions dealt with
- Assisting in the preparation of service charge reconciliation, setting up and managing the budget for the site, and ensuring expenditure is managed within agreed budget
- Regularly liaising with contract managers to ensure KPIs are being met and works are being conducted properly
- Aiding with environmental strategy to reduce energy consumption, maximise recycling, and reduce waste to landfill
- Liaising with the external marketing team to ensure they are fulfilling their contract requirements, including updating marketing channels, such as digital, offline, and social media
- Leading event planning and management, including charity and social events
- Monitoring statutory and internal compliance, including meeting MAPP policies and procedures, RICS, and ISO standards, and any statutory timelines and escalation requirements
- Self-management, including showing initiative, being proactive, and meeting deadlines
- Providing great service delivery, working in partnership with internal and external individuals, and good communication in written and verbal
