Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team at SCR. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to young people in our residential settings.

About the Role:

  • Provide emotional support and guidance to young people, promoting their emotional wellbeing and independence.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring the physical and emotional needs of young people are met.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and supportive network.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring the unique needs and goals of each young person are addressed.

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Current DBS on the Update Service
  • 1 year plus experience within Social Care
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Empathetic and non-judgmental approach, with a calm and composed demeanor
  • Dedicated and committed, with a 'can-do' attitude
  • Level 3 in Health & Social Care/Children & Young People is desirable but not essential
