Role Overview

This Graduate Product Assistant role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product development and contribute to the growth of Dovetail Recruitment Ltd.

As an entry-level position, you will be responsible for supporting the product development and quality assurance teams. Reporting directly to the Senior Product Developer, you will play a crucial role in sample checking, product testing, and providing support across various stages of the product lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and evaluate product samples to ensure they meet company quality and safety standards.
  • Test new products, document results, and provide feedback to the development team.
  • Support the product development team in managing timelines, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring product specifications are met.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product positioning and identify trends.
  • Pursue continuous learning opportunities and training sessions to enhance skills and prepare for advancement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A degree in a product or business related field.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • A strong passion for product development and creative industries.

Remuneration:

The salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays, and access to a company pension scheme, learning and development opportunities, and a positive and friendly working environment.
