About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Breast Imaging Superintendent to join our team at a reputable hospital in Lincoln. As a key member of the Mammography team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional leadership and management skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality breast imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the Mammography department, ensuring compliance with national and local guidelines and governance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service provision and patient care.
  • Collaborate with the radiology team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care.
Requirements
  • BSc (Hons) in Radiography with a valid HCPC registration.
  • SoR accredited Post Graduate Mammography Certificate.
  • IELTS Level 7, CEFR level C1 if English is not your first language.
  • Proven track record of effectively leading and managing teams in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with performance review and development processes, as well as the application of the Knowledge and Skills Framework (KSF).
