Company Overview

CV-Library is seeking a skilled Signal Processing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing analytical tools and algorithmic methods to extract sub-cellular characteristics from high-dimensional datasets.

 

Salary

We offer an estimated salary of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.

 

Job Description

To support the Senior Signal Processing Engineer in the definition and implementation of analytical tools and algorithmic methods

  1. Planning, developing, implementing, and testing analytical algorithms to fully exploit and demonstrate the efficacy of the company's proprietary sensing method in various bioprocessing applications.
  2. Provide a link between the Engineering and Biology teams to support the analysis of data and ensure information is robust, relevant, and accessible to users.
  3. Work closely with the rest of the Engineering team to support testing and validation of new hardware through data analysis.
  4. As part of a team, work with the company's established external contractors and partners for the development of software/signal processing/machine learning/data visualisation solutions.
  5. Writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring compliance with documentation standards.
  6. Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines, together with all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
  7. Where applicable, work to regulatory standards throughout a software development life cycle (ISO9001).
  8. Engaging with the company's appraisal process, and demonstrate commitment to our values, behaviours, and your continuous personal development.
  9. Performing other reasonable duties and/or projects as directed by your line manager.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

You will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or computer science.
  • Proven experience in signal processing and machine learning.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
