The Role:
This SEN Teaching Assistant position requires a caring and adaptable individual to provide tailored support to students aged 11-19 with complex needs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, patience, and empathy, as well as experience working with students with ASD, PMLD, or similar requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide one-to-one support to students with complex needs, promoting independence and confidence
  2. Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  3. Assist with personal care, hygiene, and mobility needs, ensuring dignity and respect
  4. Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure seamless support

What We Offer:

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • 2+ years' experience working with students with complex needs or ASD
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in special education or related field preferred
