About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Trade Counter Sales Assistant. As a key member of our branch operations, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert product knowledge and sales support to customers, ensuring a positive and engaging experience.
  • Work closely with the Branch Manager and Branch Supervisor to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Responsible for trade counter sales, including picking, loading, and delivering products to customers via Eurocell's fleet of vehicles.
  • Support the Branch Manager in maintaining high standards of customer service, operational efficiency, and branch sales performance.
  • Comply with Health and Safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and customers.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and achieving business targets.
  • Hands-on approach, with a focus on driving sales and maximizing margins.
  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and use initiative.
  • Confident IT user, with experience of MS Office and industry-standard software.
  • A full and valid driving license is essential, with a FLT license being a distinct advantage.
  • Previous branch stock take experience could be a distinct advantage.
  • Comfortable working in a small team and on occasion, alone.
  • Experience within a similar role in a trade, builders merchant, retail, glazing, or uPVC environment could be a distinct advantage.
