We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Trauma and Orthopaedic Integrated Therapy Team at Ipswich Hospital. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality OT services in elective and trauma orthopaedics.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work autonomously, and possess a strong understanding of relevant assessments and interventions. They will also be able to manage a complex caseload, supervise junior staff, and support the development of students on placement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To deliver a high standard of occupational therapy services in elective and trauma orthopaedics.
  • To assess, plan, and evaluate OT interventions using evidence-based client-centered principles, ensuring compliance with HCPC, CQC, and Trust clinical and quality standards.
  • To supervise and assist in the development of junior OTs, non-qualified staff, and students on placement.

Salary: £40,257 - £58,220 per annum, depending on experience.
