Senior Occupational Therapist Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at Cambian Merida. This is a permanent, part-time position, working 24 hours per week (with potential for full-time hours). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and support.

About the Role

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for leading a team of therapists and developing and implementing therapy plans to promote independence, confidence, and well-being among our young people. You will also be involved in staff supervision, training, and development, as well as contributing to the overall management of the service.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of therapists to deliver high-quality care and support;
  • Developing and implementing tailored therapy plans to promote independence, confidence, and well-being;
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports to ensure effective service delivery;
  • Contributing to staff supervision, training, and development;

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field;
  • Professional registration with the HCPC;
  • Experience working with young people with complex needs;
  • Strong leadership and communication skills;

Salary Details

We offer a salary of up to £45,000 per annum, pro rata for part-time hours. You will also receive a range of benefits, including pension scheme, life assurance, and access to employee assistance programs.
