We are seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our prestigious manufacturing business in the DN9 area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of transactional finance, including managing the credit control function, monitoring debtor balances, and chasing payment for balances falling due or overdue.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the credit control function to ensure timely payment from customers
- Monitor debtor balances on a daily and weekly basis to identify potential issues
- Chase payment for balances falling due or overdue, and report on aged debtors on a weekly basis
- Process sales ledger transactions, including raising sales invoices and credit notes, and reconcile cash book postings
- Process purchase ledger transactions, including posting purchase invoices received from suppliers, and perform ad-hoc administration duties as required
- Experience in an Accounts or Finance Administrator role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Highly motivated self-starter with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Good IT and administrative skills, with proficiency in relevant software applications
