About the Role

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Ecommerce Manager to join our team. As an Ecommerce Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic e-commerce plan for clients, both the bigger picture "annual strategy" and the day-to-day trading plan.

Main Responsibilities
  • Strategic E-commerce Planning: Develop and implement e-commerce strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Cross-Channel Campaigns: Coordinate internal teams to deploy cross-channel campaigns and ensure seamless execution.
  • Website Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of client websites, including banner and content changes, visual merchandising, product and offer setup, and optimization.
  • Web Development: Identify, brief, and test web development tasks to deliver new features and functionality, and optimize website performance.
  • E-commerce Channel P&L Production: Produce and analyze e-commerce channel profit and loss statements to inform business decisions.
  • Digital Opportunities: Proactively identify digital opportunities and produce strategic recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Competitor Analysis: Conduct weekly competitor audits to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Project Management: Ensure web design and build projects run smoothly, efficiently, on budget, and on time.
  • Development Workflow: Police and enforce the development workflow process to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Client Support: Support the development team and act as a conduit between them and the client services team on development projects.
  • Digital Operations Audit: Conduct audits of client digital operations to identify areas for improvement and produce strategic recommendations.
Requirements
  • Strong Digital Marketing Knowledge: Possess a strong working knowledge of core digital marketing channels, including email marketing, paid search, display advertising, social media, and affiliate marketing.
  • Website Design and Build Experience: Have experience with website design and build processes, particularly with open-source platforms like Shopify and WordPress.
  • Social Media Experience: Be familiar with social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, for business purposes.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent writing and language skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and adapt your message to achieve the required result.
  • Data Analysis: Be numerate and comfortable with data manipulation to produce reports and insights using Microsoft Excel.
  • Project Management: Be able to forward-plan and prioritize your workload based on business requirements.
  • Communication and People Skills: Possess great communication and people skills, with the ability to present and convince clients.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Be proactive and adept at using your own initiative to solve problems.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest digital industry trends, product updates, and technological advances.
