Ecommerce Manager Job Description

HR GO Recruitment is seeking an experienced Ecommerce Manager to join a prestigious Marketing Agency in Leeds. The successful candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing and ecommerce, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and improving online customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement ecommerce strategies to drive sales growth and improve online customer experience.
  • Manage internal resources to ensure daily management of websites, including banner and content changes, visual merchandising, product and offer setup, and optimisation.
  • Identify, brief, and test web development tasks to deliver new features and functionality and optimise website performance.
  • Produce ecommerce channel P&L production and daily trading reports.
  • Ensure web design and build projects run smoothly, efficiently, on budget, and on time.
  • Audit client's digital operations to conduct a SWOT analysis and provide strategic recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Strong working knowledge of core digital marketing channels: email marketing, paid search, display advertising, social media, and affiliate marketing.
  • Experience in website design and build processes within open-source platforms like Shopify & WordPress.
  • Excellent writing and language skills - articulate and adaptable to convey the intended message.
  • Numerate and comfortable with data manipulation to produce reports and insights using Microsoft Excel.
  • Capable of forward-planning and prioritising workload based on business requirements.
