Technical Project Manager

X4 Technology is currently collaborating with a long-standing client to recruit a Technical Project Manager.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at X4 Group. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Management: Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocation plans to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with projects to ensure minimal impact on project delivery.
- Team Management: Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure team members have the necessary skills and resources to deliver projects successfully.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain effective communication plans to ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure projects are delivered to the required quality standards, identifying and addressing any quality issues promptly.
Requirements:
- SC Cleared and Active: Hold a valid SC clearance and be willing to undergo regular security vetting.
- Project Management Methodologies: Have experience of project management methodologies, including Agile, Scaled Agile, and Waterfall.
- IT Service Management: Have experience of IT service management approaches, including ITIL v4.
- Project Management Qualifications: Hold a recognized project management qualification to Practitioner level.
- Toolset Experience: Have experience of project management tools, including MS Project and JIRA.
- Defence and Security Experience: Have experience of project management in Defence and Security and/or other Government Departments.
- Education: Hold a degree (or equivalent) in numerate subjects, such as Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or Physics.
