About the Job

We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager to oversee our freight locomotive retrofit initiative, which aims to drive decarbonization and digitalization within the UK rail sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Scope: Define and manage project scope, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a multidisciplinary team, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Communication: Foster effective communication among teams, Freight operators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Project Management Expertise: Proven track record of managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
  2. Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of project finance, commercial management, and risk assessment.
  3. Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to drive team performance.
  4. Engineering Background: Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or relevant experience; a second degree in management is beneficial.
