Design and Development Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at National Nuclear Laboratory. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to design and develop remotely deployed equipment for the nuclear industry, working closely with our multi-disciplined team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and produce 2D detailed design drawings and schematics using AutoCAD
  • Conduct detailed technical and design calculations
  • Develop prototype equipment and processes through to supply of end products
  • Prepare product safety-related documentation
  • Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and company policy standards
  • Provide technical direction to technician and craft personnel
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers
  • Produce technical reports
  • Design, installation, and commissioning of inactive test rig electrical building services
  • Survey and document plant-based equipment and systems
Benefits and Salary

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary package, including a base salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, annual leave, and access to training and development opportunities.
