About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Engineer Specialist Practitioner Clinical Technologist to join our Medical Equipment Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the full life-cycle of medical equipment, ensuring its safe and effective use in patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the service, repair, and fault-finding of a wide range of medical equipment
- Commission, calibrate, and performance assure medical equipment to ensure its accuracy and reliability
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to identify equipment needs and develop solutions
- Provide training and support to staff on the use and maintenance of medical equipment
- Engineering or Technology knowledge to SCQF Level 9
- Postgraduate experience of medical equipment, including attendance at manufacturer technical courses
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
