We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Technologist to join our DEXA team at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing bone densitometry (DEXA) scans and analyzing studies to diagnose osteoporosis and monitor treatment.
The team utilizes three Hologic scanners, and the selected candidate will receive comprehensive training on their operation.
To be eligible for this role, you must hold a degree in a relevant field and be willing to undertake a formal training program to acquire the necessary skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform DEXA scans and analyze bone density studies
- Collaborate with the team to provide high-quality patient care
- Develop and maintain expertise in DEXA scanning and analysis

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
