About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Engineer Specialist Practitioner Clinical Technologist Medical Physics to join our team. As a key member of our Medical Equipment Management service, you will be responsible for managing the full life-cycle of medical equipment devices, completing over 60,000 jobs per year across ten hospital sites.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full life-cycle of medical equipment devices, including commissioning, calibration, performance assurance, and repair.
- Work with a wide range of medical devices, including specialist and highly-complex equipment.
- Develop and maintain expertise in medical equipment, including clinical, scientific, and engineering principles.
- Collaborate with a team of clinical engineer technologists to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure effective service delivery.
- Engineering or Technology knowledge to SCQF Level 9.
- Postgraduate experience of medical equipment, including attending manufacturers' technical courses.
- Experience of the service, repair, and fault-finding of a wide range of medical equipment.
- Understanding of clinical, scientific, and engineering principles of a broad range of medical devices.
- Good organizational and communication skills.

You will work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a flexible working pattern to accommodate the needs of the service.
