Eating Disorders Specialist Dietitian

The Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Eating Disorders Dietitian to join our highly regarded Eating Disorders Service. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a community team that provides specialist assessment, treatment, and support for individuals with eating disorders and their families.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will work as a highly specialist dietitian within a community team that accepts referrals for children, young people, and adults from a wide range of multi-agency partners. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing specialist advice and support for other clinicians within the ED service and system partners.
- Undertaking clinical leadership and/or project management tasks as requested to support service improvement initiatives.
- Developing and delivering group work to support patients with ARFID, Type 1 Diabetes, Disordered Eating, and other special dietary requirements.
- Contributing to the development of a community ARFID treatment pathway as part of the wider Eating Disorders Service.

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have:
- Significant experience in Dietetics, including experience of working with Eating Disorder cases in the community or inpatient setting.
- Experience of participation in quality improvement activities.
- Experience of developing and delivering group work.
Desirable qualifications include post-registration paediatric dietetic experience and experience of supervising students on placement. Further training in Behaviour Change, Counselling skills, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing skills is also desirable.
