Job Title: Building Surveyor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join our team at Fortus Recruitment Group. As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to properties within your specified region, including Damp Mould and Condensation inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct surveys to properties within your specified region
  • Diagnose the cause of complex faults and failures
  • Post-inspect works supporting the local authority to ensure high-quality optimum works are delivered in budget, on time, safely and to a high standard
  • Assess and improve property standards

Requirements:

  • Excellent level of knowledge of building construction standards, and legislation
  • Ability to diagnose and specify remedies to building defects
  • Experience of undertaking assessments in line with the Housing Health & Safety Rating System
  • Understanding of responsive repairs, voids work, planned and cyclical repairs requirements
