**Job Title:** Senior Payroll Administrator

Estimated Salary:£32,000 - £40,000 per annum

About Our Organisation

Farrer Barnes Limited is a respected organisation seeking a highly experienced Senior Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our accounts department, you will be responsible for providing payroll services to our clients.

Job Responsibilities
  • Employee Record Maintenance: Maintain employee payroll records by updating leavers pay, P46, P45, court orders, ad-hoc payments, and absences.
  • Tax Code Management: Manage tax codes and student loans downloads from the HMRC site.
  • Holiday Pay and Sick Pay Administration: Administer holiday pay, statutory sick pay, and other payments/deductions, including non-taxable payments.
  • Weekly Payroll Processing: Process end-to-end weekly payroll, including Pension Auto-enrolment, PCR, Finance posting, and reports to internal functions and 3rd party benefits providers.
  • Benefits and Salary Sacrifice Expertise: Possess expertise in benefits in kind and salary sacrifice.
  • Legislative Knowledge: Have up-to-date legislative knowledge of PAYE, NIC, and Tax Codes.
  • Year-End Support: Provide support for Year End processes, including tax code uplifts and P11D's.
Essential Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Extensive experience within payroll.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
