Job Title: Transformation Director for Quality Excellence

Job Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished Transformation Director for Quality Excellence to join Insight Executive Group (IEG) and lead the development of our Target Operating Model (TOM) for large-scale capital development projects. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of healthcare delivery by working on a project that is integral to the New Hospital Programme (NHP), an initiative transforming 40 hospitals across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Trust clinical leads, local authorities, and national NHS bodies, ensuring a seamless transition to the future operating model while addressing complex challenges and interdependencies within the programme.
  • Develop and implement programme success criteria, monitoring progress and ensuring business case benefits and outcomes are met within time, cost, and quality constraints.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including NHS England, local healthcare partners, and national NHP bodies, to drive the programme forward.
  • Lead on the identification and delivery of critical success factors for the overall programme, engaging in research, innovation, and best practice to inform project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development with up-to-date knowledge of major national programmes such as the New Hospital Programme and the RAAC programme.
  • Extensive experience managing large and complex projects, particularly in the healthcare or public sector, with a track record of delivering successful transformation initiatives.
  • This role requires someone who can navigate complex systems, bring innovative solutions to longstanding challenges, and foster collaboration to deliver world-class patient care in a state-of-the-art healthcare facility.
