About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Part-time Accounting Specialist to join our team in Great Yarmouth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in accounts to work 15 hours per week, Monday being essential.

As a Part-time Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for various tasks including preparing weekly and monthly payroll, processing supplier statements, credit control, posting bank transactions and reconciliation, month-end adjustments and prepayments & accruals, month-end preparation, and ad hoc general support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare weekly and monthly payroll, ensuring accurate entry of timesheets.
  • Process supplier statements in a timely manner.
  • Credit control, managing outstanding invoices and payments.
  • Post bank transactions and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform month-end adjustments and prepayments & accruals.
  • Contribute to month-end preparation, ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
  • Provide ad hoc general support to the team as needed.
