About this role

The Ministry of Defence is seeking a highly skilled Band 6 Physiotherapist to join their team at Baker Barracks, Emsworth. As a senior physiotherapy specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of the defence healthcare team.

Key responsibilities

As a Band 6 Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing patients with varying levels of physical disabilities and developing individualised treatment plans to help them recover and maintain optimal function. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and make recommendations for discharge planning as needed.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong foundation in physiotherapy principles and practices, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders. A recognised degree in physiotherapy and current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) are essential requirements for this position
