About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Assembly Technician to join our team at Arden White Limited, a leading company in the aerospace and defence sectors. As an Electronics Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for building electrical assemblies, inspecting and testing finished products, and conducting repairs and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electronic and Mechanical Assembly: Build electrical assemblies following technical drawings, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines).
  • Component Testing: Inspect, test, and troubleshoot finished products to ensure they meet the highest quality standards.
  • Repair & Upgrades: Conduct upgrades and repairs on both mechanical and electrical assemblies, ensuring efficient operation.
  • Use of Hand Tools: Operate tools like torque drivers, crimping tools, micrometers, and verniers for precise assembly.
  • Assembly of Complex Systems: Work on fan/motors, heaters, and electronic components used in aviation, aerospace, and defence equipment.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience in electronics assembly (e.g., assembling small components, soldering, or similar work).
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with aviation and aerospace systems, as well as defence and marine components.
  • Drawings & Schematics: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, CMMs, and SOPs accurately.
  • Precision Assembly: Experience with small component assembly, including tasks like soldering and assembling electronic circuits.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify issues during the testing and inspection phase.
