Android Security Specialist

We are working with a well-established, CREST-accredited consultancy that has recently won a significant project with a leading Information Technology organization. They are seeking an Android Security Engineer to join their team.
The company supports thousands of clients from the private sector to public and defense, with over two decades of experience. This role will involve working in a team of six, focusing on Android device security, and challenging questions that cannot be answered by lower malware analysis tiers.
The environment will be fast-paced, and the project will be long and challenging, but highly rewarding for everyone involved. Key responsibilities include:
- Reverse engineering of Android and Java-based apps
- Experience with different types of code and languages is a plus
- Knowledge of the Android platform and its security mechanisms
- Vulnerability assessment and mobile penetration testing
- Knowledge of security-related topics, such as authentication, identity management, data leakage prevention, validation checking, encryption, hashing, and software attack methodologies
