Android Security Specialist

We are working with a well-established, CREST accredited Consultancy who have recently secured a significant project with a leading Information Technology organisation. They are seeking an Android Security Engineer to join their team of experts.
The company supports a wide range of clients from the private sector to public and defence sectors, with a history spanning over two decades.
This role will involve working in a team of six, focusing on the security aspects of Android Devices, tackling complex questions that require advanced malware analysis skills. The environment will be fast-paced, and the project will be long and challenging, but highly rewarding for all involved.
Key Responsibilities:- At least 3 years of experience in Mobile Security Engineering
- Reverse engineering of Android and Java-based applications
- Experience with various code types and languages is a plus
- Knowledge of the Android platform and its security mechanisms
- Vulnerability assessment and mobile penetration testing
- Knowledge of security-related topics, such as authentication, identity management, data leakage prevention, validation checking, encryption, hashing, and software attack methodologies
