We are seeking an empathetic and dedicated Advocate to join our team at The Brain Charity. As a key member of our team, you will provide issue-based advocacy for adult carers living within the Liverpool City Council area.
Key Responsibilities- Amplify the voice and needs of carers and their families as they navigate the health and social care system.
- Offer practical information, advice, and signposting on areas such as employment, legal support, welfare benefits, and housing.
- Promote self-advocacy to enable carers to advocate on their own behalf.
- Support carers in various settings, including our centre, their homes, care homes, or hospitals.
