About the Role

We are seeking an empathic and committed Advocate to join our team at The Brain Charity. As an Advocate, you will provide issue-based support to adult carers living within the Liverpool City Council area, amplifying their voice and needs as they navigate the health and social care system.

Your role will involve offering practical information, advice, and signposting on areas such as employment, legal support, welfare benefits, and housing. You will also promote self-advocacy to enable carers to advocate on their own behalf.

Support will be offered in various settings, including our centre on Norton St in Liverpool, visiting carers at home, or in care home or hospital settings.
