About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our District Nursing Service as a Senior Community Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious nurse to take on a leadership role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in the community.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical leadership and guidance to junior staff members
  • Developing and implementing care plans for patients with complex needs
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participating in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
  • Supporting the development of junior staff members through mentorship and supervision

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Postgraduate qualification in a specialist field or working towards
  • Experience of working in a district nursing service or a similar community setting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
