Support Professional

Orwell Housing Association is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in the Learning Disability sector. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with their daily lives, promoting independence and dignity.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position with flexible hours available. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and care to residents with learning disabilities, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop personalized care plans and deliver exceptional support.
Key Responsibilities- Providing personal care and support to residents
- Assisting with daily tasks such as meal preparation and household chores
- Encouraging participation in social activities and community events
We are looking for an individual who possesses excellent communication skills, a caring nature, and a passion for supporting people with learning disabilities. A qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience is desirable. Full driving license is also preferred but not essential.
